Cicada ~ it/its pronouns ~ 18 ~ fleshcatthing shapeshifter

Hello hello!! My name's Cicada, and you've stumbled on my website! I'm an artist (traditional at heart, but I make a lot of digital stuff too) and a writer when I want to be. I use it/its pronouns primarily, but I'm also okay with mirrored pronouns (use what you'd use for yourself for me :o] ). I identify as transgender or genderqueer and an aromantic lesbian (who's also objectum!), although typically I just say "queer" as that's kind of a mouthful :p

I also identify as alterhuman. This means that I don't consider myself human, and instead I feel more like an animal or monster in human skin. I believe it has something to do with my brain's particular concoction of mental illness, but that's not really something I want to get into here. I consider myself a shapeshifter, meaning my identity is pretty fluid and I feel like different creatures at different times. Generally though, I identify with cats, earwigs, centipedes, parasites as a general concept, and fleshy, amorphous monsters (think like The Thing (1987) or the monster from the game Carrion)

I really admire the creativity people have when it comes to making personal sites, and I've wanted to make one for myself for a very long time. Well, late December 2024, with w3schools in one tab and music in the other, I decided to take the plunge! I will say though that I am very literally a complete beginner who has no idea what its doing. This site is me throwing code at the wall until something sticks. If I showed it to any of my family members who like to code, they'd probably cry. All that to say please be patient with me if things are wonky, its not on purpose I swear.
